Genre: Character-Driven Comedy Farce – a Mythic Journey
Length: 137 pages

WE THE PEOPLE is a comic-tragic-mythic-farce and a very timely work, especially in lieu of the present comic-tragic-mythic-farce going on in Washington!

WE THE PEOPLE is the story of Albert P. Hiney, successor to President Dickman and Vice President Hardon. Albert, or more respectfully, Mr. Hiney, is the most unlikely person on earth, thrust against every fiber of his will, into becoming the President of the United States; even though he is exactly what we all need – someone loving, kind, compassionate, highly-educated, and insightful, who actually cares about The People. If it weren’t for his pink bunny slippers, his clunky klutziness, huge horn-rimmed glasses, no sense of dress style, a compulsion to lick Vanilla Ice Cream to help him think (something new in Washington), or his height, his balding head, occasional stutter and limp, and his worst nightmare adversary DR. D, who is grooming General MooseWad to take office once Hiney is Flushed down the toilet… well… Albert might have had an easier ride trying to save The Suffering American People.

Through President Hiney’s comic and mythic journey that drags him underneath the bowls of dirty politics and the insatiable greed of big business, as well as a real-life and heart-felt trek through America’s true landscape bearing witness to the many victims of its abuse and neglect, and finally through a calamity of obstacles reminiscent of a Jerry Lewis twitching tantrum on a roller coaster with a broken wheel speeding downhill, Albert finds the bounty and returns it to the people, crushing evil with kindness, and rises to become a great world leader – the kind only found in dreams.

The American Dream.

Or maybe just… Albert P. Hiney’s… dream.

WE THE PEOPLE offers a great comic role for a comic actor with many zany and hilarious fully human characters:
– Momma Mia (Albert’s over-protective super-cooking adoptive Italian Mommy.)
– Dr. Mindstein (Albert’s nutty absent-minded genius ex-professor.)
– Dakota (an American Indian hippie Folk Singer Pot-Head, who strums and sings his pain at all the wrong times.)
– Shantel (a very pissed off Black-Panther Female Feminist,  the great great granddaughter of slaves.)

Al of them become Albert’s Presidential Administration!

Meet the Albert’s enemies:

– General MooseWad (7 feet and 400 pounds of authentic American stupidity wrapped in grotesque machismo, with a bald lumpy head and salamander’s brain inside of it)
and
– Dr. D (a Dastardly, brilliant 99-Year old spidery leach multi-trillionaire) who lives 1 mile below the White house in a cavernous abyss, walls of razor-sharp jagged stone plastered with thousand-dollar bills, where he controls the world bank, along with his creepy crony Trillionaire Global Globs of Take, 6 evil-minded partners who hunger like ravenous dinosaurs starving to death to destroy Albert P. Hiney’s Presidency, so they can own the world and buy more useless, expensive crap.

WE THE PEOPLE is a mythic journey into the bowls of America and Politics, set in an over-the-top but satisfyingly human mythic romp through the world of power, greed, and compassionate rebellion against the forces that have and are destroying so very much.
